Grace is Greater than Sin
Scripture/Text: Romans 5:12-21; In our current climate today, ministers and churches tend to shy away from discussing sin. They seem more concerned about not offending people than proclaiming the gospel's truth.
We ought to care more about offending God.
The heart of the gospel tells us that we are sinners in need of a savior. If we don't recognize how broken we are, we will never fully understand our need for Jesus and the amazing grace he provides.
Paul's letter to the Romans is one of the most profound and powerful books of the Bible, and in this section, he presents a powerful argument for the necessity of grace in our lives. Through the passage, we will explore the impact of Adam's sin on humanity and the significance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.
As we study this passage, we will discover the nature of sin and the importance of God's grace in our salvation. We will also explore how Christ's sacrifice has reconciled us with God and made it possible for us to experience eternal life.
